William Calvin “Billy” Seigler, III, 69, of 2116 Whitetown Road, McCormick, widower of Nancy Weathers Seigler, died Saturday, May 25, 2019, at his home. Born in McCormick, he was a son of Lucy Lindley Seigler Williams and the late William Calvin “Buddy” Seigler, Jr. Billy retired from the South Carolina Army National Guard, as a First Sergeant, having served as a Combat Veteran in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was a member of Mine Lodge 117 in McCormick and also retired from Monsanto after working more than 30 years.

Billy was a member of First Bethany Baptist Church of McCormick. He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Eugene “Bucky” Seigler. Surviving in addition to his mother of McCormick are two children, The Honorable W. Greg Seigler (Jennifer) of McCormick and Autumn Joy Moder (Harrison) of El Paso, TX; a sister, Kathy Seigler Hollingsworth (Charles) of McCormick; four grandsons; and a great grandson.

Graveside services will be announced. The family will receive friends following the graveside. The family has requested that flowers be omitted, and memorials be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
