Obituary for Billy V. Wallace Billy Vernon Wallace, 80, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018. Billy was born in Whitesburg, Georgia, in March 7, 1938 to the late Mikel and Clara York Wallace. Also, preceding Billy in death are his sisters, Phoebe Smith, Linda Williams, Louise Shuler, Jeanette Eason; brother, Bo Wallace; son, Ronald Wallace.

Billy retired from the Wellington Mills in Whitesburg, GA. in 2000. Billy loved all things sports!

Especially the Falcons, the Braves and both UGA Bulldogs and GA Tech Yellowjackets. He loved his dogs Mandy and Daisy. Billy enjoyed collecting coins and other memorabilia.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte E. Pitts Wallace; children, Jennifer (Matthew) Fay, Sherrie (Tracy) Cox; grandchildren, Melissa (Eric) Wolfe, Matthew (Ashley) Smith, Jared Windom; great grandchildren, Hannah Gold, Kyler Smith, Korie Smith, Lorelei Wolfe, William Wolfe; brother Gary Brown; sisters Ruth Mannis and Nadine Henry. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM with a graveside funeral service at 1:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan, GA with Rev. Gary Brown officiating.
