The Right Reverend Robert James Ward, Prelate of the Eastern Missouri First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018. Public Viewing for Bishop Robert James Ward will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 12:00Noon-6:30PM. The Local & Jurisdictional Celebration for Bishop Robert James Ward will be held on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 7:00PM.

The National Celebration for the Right Reverend Robert James Ward will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 11:00AM with Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake, Sr., Officiating. The Adjutant General is requesting that all Bishops wear your “Class A” attire. All Adjutant Brothers, please wear your “Class A” vestments and Adjutant Sister, please wear your White Habits.

All other male clergy are asked to wear your “Class B” attire. (This includes: Administrative Assistants, Superintendents, Pastor, Elders and Ministers). All services will be held at Kennerly Temple Church of God in Christ, 4307 Bishop Robert Ward Avenue (formerly Kennerly Avenue), St. Louis, Missouri 63113.
