Billy Jack “B.J.” Hayden Dennison, Sr. of Goshen, OH was born on January 13, 1943 in Pineville, KY. He passed unexpectedly on October 23, 2018 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of 52 years to Klara Faye (nee Reynolds) Dennison.

Loving father of Timothy Scott (Laura) Dennison of Goshen, OH and B.J. Dennison II of Batavia, OH. Proud Papaw of Hayden, Haley, Madison, William, Kathryn, Everett and London Dennison. Dear brother of Denver Dennison, Diane Patterson and the late Rose Lewis.

Cherished son of the late Coyet and Jackie (nee Kirby) Dennison. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. B.J. graduated from Cumberland College, where he played basketball and earned a B.S. in Education.

He married Faye and never left her side for 52 years. He served in the Goshen Local School District from 1967 to 1996 as a teacher, administrator and Superintendent. He loved fishing, gardening, working outdoors and playing with his grandchildren.

He was an active member of Woodville Baptist Church and his favorite bible verse was Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”. His favorite hymn was “In The Garden”. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 29, 10 AM – 12 Noon at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt.

28, Goshen, where funeral services will immediately follow at 12 Noon. I nterment, Goshen Cemetery, Goshen Township, OH. Memorial donations may be made in memory of B.J. Dennison, Sr. to the Woodville Baptist Church Missions Fund, 10970 Woodville Rd.

, Blanchester, OH 45107 Pastor Bill Webb will be the minister for B.J.’s services. Pallbearers for B.J. are: Timothy Dennison, B.J. Dennison II, Hayden Dennison, William Dennison, Denver Lee Dennison and Denver Dennison.
