Funeral Service for Blanche Diane Chaney age 73 of Hartselle will be Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 1:00pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Phillip Hardin officiating with burial in the McKendree Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Chaney, who was born March 21, 1945 in Jasper, Alabama to Loren Carl Stephenson and Hester Eunice Gurganus Stephenson, died on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.

She was employed in supervision at Falkville Healthcare Center, loved going to auctions and buying gifts for others. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Joseph Carl Stephenson and Eugene Stephenson and a son-in-law; Mark William Collins. She is survived by her husband; Elmer Hal Chaney, 2 sons; Mark Anthony Wylie and Timothy Lynn Chaney, 2 daughters; Bonnie Lee Beindit (Howard) and Michelle Lynn Hill (Michael), 1 brother; Prentice Larry Stephenson (Pat), 7 grandchildren; Anthony Wylie-Miller, Ashley Hill, Emmalee Collins, Jessa Wylie, Luke Wylie, Savannah Chaney and Aderianna Chaney, 6 great-grandchildren Danny Hogan, Jeff Stiles, Jerry Kimbril, Dennis Stephenson, Donald Graziano, Michael Hill and Kenny C. Stephenson will serve as pallbearers.
