Obituary for Bob Booth May 25, 2018 at the age of 71, Bob Booth passes away from a heart attack at a noon meeting in the company of those he loved and loved him. Bob dedicated himself to his own recovery and the recovery of those he mentored at the Turning Point Center of Chittenden County. Bob was born May 2, 1947, the son of Jeanne Booth Burden and John Wells Booth.
His son Christopher Booth and his sister Linda Burden survive him. Bob graduated from Champlain Valley Union High School. The year CVU opened he was a junior.
His athletic skill in varsity basketball, baseball, and ice hockey along with his extroverted personality played a major role in uniting students from four towns into one high school. Bob attended Lyndon State College, majoring in sports education. His athleticism won many basketball games and his love of people made him a person others loved to be with.
