Robert “Bob” Fisher Nearhood, 92, of Buckley, Washington died November 2, 2018 at his home. Bob is survived by his children: Karen (Gary) Woldt of Tacoma, Kathie (Leonard) Soler of Buckley, Connie (Jerry) Jeter of Buckley, Keven Nearhood of Buckley, and Kristi Crumpton of Tacoma as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth LaVerne Nearhood and his daughter Karla Nearhood.

Bob started working at the age of 17 for Western Farmers and stayed with them until retirement. He drove a truck for them for some time and had over a million miles of safe driving, for which he received a certificate. He also owned and operated a small family dairy farm.

Bob was a member of the Buckley Eagles, where he and his wife would spend Wednesday nights dancing. He was also a Teamsters member. More than anything, Bob loved being home with his family who misses him dearly.

A memorial service will be held, Wed. , Nov.
