OBITUARY Bobbie Jean Kaserman March 20, 1929 – July 13, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Bobbie Jean Kaserman, patient wife, mom, grandmother, great grandmother, teacher, and friend, joined her husband, family and friends that passed before her on July 13, 2018, with her family by her side. She was born to Berl & Gracie Poe, March 20, 1929 in Alden Oklahoma. Bobbie graduated from Ada High School and received a BA and Masters from the Central State University in Edmond Oklahoma.

She married Alan Kaserman in 1947, a union that flourished for 52 years and produced 4 sons, 11 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Bobbie was preceded in death by Al in 2000, her parents, and her brother Don Poe. She is survived by hers sons Mike, David and his wife Lorianne, Jimmy, Mark and his wife Cathie, 11 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren (Mimi’s grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life).

Bobbie was a school teacher and taught vocational education in the Oklahoma City Public Schools for 22 years (mostly at Northwest Classen High School) and she worked in customer relations at The Oklahoma Publishing Company until she retired at the young age of 78 in 2007. Although she retired, she never could sit down and volunteered her time to Meals on Wheels, The Oklahoma Food Bank, and her beloved Lakeside United Methodist Church where she had been a member for over 60 years. Mom was an avid reader, Atlanta Braves baseball fan, and loved the Oklahoma City Thunder, but most of all, she enjoyed time with family and friends.

FAMILY Al Kaserman, Husband Berl I. Poe, Father Grace Poe, Mother Don Poe, Brother Mike Kaserman, Son David Kaserman, Son Lorianne Kaserman, Daughter-in-law Jimmy Kaserman, Son Mark Kaserman, Son Cathie Kaserman, Daughter-in-law Bobbie also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren to cherish her memory.
