Bobbie Sue Melek Cain gained her wings on November 24th, 2018 at North Delta Hospice House in Southaven, MS after a long illness. Bobbie was born on July 25th, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio. She spent most of her early life growing up in Arkansas with her family.

She graduated from Elaine High School in 1956 before moving to Memphis where she graduated from Draughon’s Business College. She worked in insurance for a time before becoming a full time mother to her two children, Trey and Jason. She later returned to the work force with Maybelline in Memphis and later Little Rock, where she worked for the next 33 years before finally retiring.

After retirement, she spent time with friends travelling and shopping. She loved her church family at Rugby Hills Baptist Church where she was a faithful member until the doors closed. She then became a member at Range Hills Baptist Church at that time.

She loved her Sunday school class and will be missed by them. All who knew her loved her giving spirit and smile. She was a good and faithful Christian servant.

Bobbie Sue Melek Cain was preceded in death by her mother, Cynthia H. Wilson Smith of Caraway, Arkansas and her father, Steven Melek, of Detroit, Michigan. She also was preceded by her grandparents, Sue Wilson and Robert Wilson; along with her aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. She is survived by her children Guy A. Cain III “Trey” (Ginger) and Jason M. Cain (Adrienne) and numerous grand dogs that she loved.

There are a host of other family members including her sisters, Peggy Tucker and Delois Lee along with all of their families that continue to remember her as well.
