Obituary for Bobby Harrell Hensley Bobby Harrell Hensley passed away at home of his daughter in Sandy Utah on October 3rd 2018. He was born to Roy Merle and Willie Riley Hensley in Benton County, Mississippi on April 9th 1933. He resided in Memphis, where he graduated from Messick High School in 1951.

He attended Memphis State College and Bethel College. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955, primarily entertaining troops throughout Germany by playing baseball and basketball. In 1956 he married June Jackson.

They were inseparable for 62 years, until his death. He retired from the National Park Service as an administrative officer in 1984, after a career that took the family to some of the most beautiful National Parks in the country. He resided at Rogers Springs Lake, Tennessee for 27 years before moving to Utah 2016.

Bobby had a wonderful sense of humor that endeared him to everyone. He was the ultimate handyman and fixed many problems and built many projects for friends and family. He loved to fish and he loved nature.

He was devoted father and husband. To us, he was the best man there ever was. Bobby is survived by his wife June; son Jeffrey (Cheryl) Hensley, and daughter Patricia Standriff; grandaughters, Kayla (Paul) Maynor, Taylor Standriff, Tonya (Kyle) Keyawa, and Sierra (Luke) West; great grandson Kallen Maynor, and sister Judy Robinson.

Proceeded in death by his parents and sister Martha Wilson. Services to be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, October 9th 2018 at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Redwood Road, Bluffdale, Utah.
