Obituary for Carole Dean Carole Dean 1938 – 2018 Carole Dean age 80 passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 21, 2018 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo Utah. Carole Dean (neeSanchez) was born in Highland Boy, Utah on March 29,1938 to her parents Antonio Elias Sanchez and Rebecca Ruth Hall Sanchez. Carole was raised in Bingham, Utah and graduated from Bingham High School in 1956.

Carole had a great love for the small tight knit Bingham community she lived in she particularly loved the diversity of people that resided there she loved and accepted people from all cultures and backgrounds. She had a strong testimony and love for her membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was called to serve as a missionary in the Spanish American Mission serving in Texas and Mexico.

Later she would also serve with her daughter Celeste Dean on assignment at the MTC in Provo, Utah. She served as a seminary instructor various times throughout her life, and served the young women in the church as a Laurel and Beehive instructor. She successfully owned and operated the Edgemont Montessori Preschool from 1991until she retired in 2005.

Among loving children and teaching she was a strong advocate for children with special needs. As a parent of a child with Down’s Syndrome she set a wonderful example to other mothers and children by providing her support so they might discover the talents and capabilities within their own children. She developed her talent and love for dance as respected and talented choreographer was able to perform and create musical and dance numbers performed in the historic Salt Lake Tabernacle.

Carole’s greatest love was her role as a mother caring for and raising her four children her happiest moments in her life came from being a proud mother of her children and being able to talk about her love of them and for them. Carole is survived by her four children John Dean, Palmer Alaska, Rebecca, Provo, Utah Jacob Dean Orem, Utah, and Celeste Provo, Utah. Her seven grandchildren Hunter, Packer, Truman, Brigham, Grace Lamoreaux, Sophie, Claire, and her brother Dr. Robert Sanchez, Palmdale, California.

As were her wishes and in honor of them by her children a private family memorial service and life celebration will be held in her honor at a later date.
