Ruby, SC Mr. Bobby James “Bob” Parker, age 82, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, May 26, 2018 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Ben Boyd and Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, May 25, 2018 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mr. Parker was born February 18, 1936 in Summerville, GA a son of the late James and Cora Parker. He was a life-long member of the Church of Christ and was a former Deacon. A U.S. Army Veteran and retired employee of Carolina Canners, Bob enjoyed fishing and playing softball.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Parker was also preceded in death by 1 sister, Thelma Watson. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Audrey H. Parker of the home; 5 children, Rev. Wayne (Shirley) Hodge, Donnie Parker, Ronnie Parker, Carl Parker all of Ruby, SC, and Joe (Mary) Parker of Jefferson, SC; grandchildren, Michael (Jessie) Hodge of Clinton, NC, Denise Malloy of Ruby, SC, Travis (Stephanie) Parker of Pinellas Park, FL, Nicholas Parker of Atlanta, GA, Jeffrey Parker of Pageland, SC, Tyler Parker of Pinellas Park, FL, Rhonda (Ray) Chambers of Pageland, SC, and Stephen Parker of El Paso, TX, Candice Parker of Jefferson, SC, Bobby (Alicia) Parker of Pageland, SC, and Mikey Parker of Bethune, SC; 20 great grandchildren, and 1 sister, Sue Luke of Tifton, GA.
