OBITUARY Bobby Joan Williamson January 19, 1942 – October 1, 2018 Bobby Joan Williamson, age 76, of Wilmer, Alabama passed away on Monday October 1, 2018. Bobby was born January 19, 1942 in Pineola, Mississippi. She worked for Gayfers’s Department Store but also served as a homemaker and a Reverends wife, she was very active with their church and community.

She is survived by her husband, Reverend Vernon Williamson, Sr They shared over 59 years and celebrated their anniversary back on May 9, 2018. Survivors also include two sons: Vernon George (Leticia)Williamson, Jr. and Julius Dwayne (Julie Kelly) Williamson.

Brother Emmett Roland (Bobbie) West, sisters: Hazel Benefield, Betty Jean (Bill) Williamson, Kay (Frank) Mason and Patricia Denmark. Seven grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. A visitation for Bobby will be held Friday, October 5, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, AL 36571.

A funeral service will be Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 10:00 AM, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, AL 36571. A committal service will occur Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Independence Cemetery, Pine Hill, AL 36769. Memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.
