OBITUARY Bobby Leon Lacey February 23, 1939 – September 20, 2018 Bobby Leon Lacey, age 79, of Hampton, Georgia passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018. Bobby was born February 23, 1939 to Grady and Elizabeth Lacey in Lenore City, TN. Mr. Lacey worked for Coca- Cola for 45 years as a special events specialist.

He worked with Feed the Hungry, Dogwood Festival, 1996 Olympics, and many other events throughout Atlanta’s history. He was a humble man and a real people person. Bobby loved playing baseball, and he played for many years.

One year, he pitched for Hank Aaron’s Allstars, which was a softball team. Bobby also owned his own concession business. He had rights to many sporting events, including GA Tech’s football games.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara Lacey; his sons, Ray (Esther) Lacey, David (Michele) Lacey; 8 grandchildren; 20 great- grandchildren; and a host of friends. A visitation for Bobby will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Haisten Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park, 640 McGarity Rd. McDonough, GA 30252. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.
