Bobby R. Coley Sr., 77, passed away at his home on Monday, February 25, 2019. He was born August 28, 1941 to Luther and Antoinette (Lofton) Coley in Winton, North Carolina. He later moved to Muskegon and made a life long career of being a local truck driver.

Bobby was a U.S. Army veteran. His hobbies included camping and numerous hours riding his Harley. On December 5, 1986 he married his wife Donna and together celebrated 32 years of marriage.

Survivors include his 8 children, Deborah (Brian) Johnson, Dorothy (Tom) Hester, Antoinette (Jeff Rowe) Roest, Ricky (Michelle) Coley, Bobby (Kelly) Coley Jr., Rhonda Slamkowski, Brenda Sikkenga, and Troy Schneider; brother, Paul (Kyoko Fukuda) Coley; sister, Wynita Parham; numerous grand and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gloria Childs; and brother, Edward Coley. A service to celebrate and remember Bobby’s life will be held 1:00 PM Friday, March 1, 2019 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave.
