Bobette May was born December 27, 1951 in Purcell, OK, the 2nd of 4 children born to Robert Albert May and Marveleen Joyce (Gravely) May. She was raised in Wayne and attended school there, later living in Lexington.

She worked as a Nurse’s Aide in the Norman/Oklahoma City for many years. Bobette had such a nurturing spirit. She loved her work and being around people, and she dedicated herself to caring for others.

Bobette cherished her family. She was the proud mother of daughter, Michelle, and grandmother to Elijah. She was a wonderful sister, aunt and friend.

Bobette enjoyed arts and crafts and passionately shared this with her nieces and nephews. She will dearly missed! She was preceded in death by: Her parents, Robert and Marveleen May.

Bobette is survived by: Her daughter, Michelle May; Grandson, Elijah May; Sisters, Valerie Cothren and husband Ron of Wynnewood and Sue Long and husband DeWayne of Noble; Brother, Rick May; Several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
