Bonnie’s Obituary Bonnie Ester Bruner, 71, of Vine Grove KY, left this life March 25, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving children and husband. She attended SOSU’s Home Economics degree program to use these skills to cater weddings. She was an excellent cook and became a dietary manager.

Later, she worked in the cafeteria at John Hardin Middle School in Hardin County, KY. She was a talented seamstress who made a variety of clothing including uniforms for the Durant HS Flag Corps. She enjoyed doing many arts, crafts and ceramics.

When she resided in Durant she was a member of First Assembly of God. After her personal relationship with God, she most cherished her children, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She was born April 5, 1947 to the late John Guthrie, & Lillian Mae Hudson Thweatt.

She was preceded in death by a sister Francis Innis. She is survived by her husband Dalton H. Bruner; children Tammy (Hugh Clay) Fortenberry of Durant, OK, Sam (Kathy) Lomping of Kingston, OK, & Bridget (Jimmy) Garrison of Stringtown, OK; step-children Jennifer (Kenny) Rogers of Henderson, NV, & Danny Bruner of Henderson, NV; sisters June Massey of Minco, OK, & Priscilla Thweatt of Henderson, NV, brothers John (Janice) Thweatt of Chickasha, OK, & Jim Thweatt of Yucapia, CA; OK grandchildren Tiffany, William, Brandon, Chelsea, Vincent, Cherokee, Mandelyn, Racer, Carla & 4 grandchildren in NV; many great-grandchildren. A chapel service will be at 2:00 PM Monday April 1st, 2019 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma with Dr. John Breon officiating.

The family will gather in the chapel one hour before the service. Burial will follow the service at the Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma. The pallbearers will be William Fortenberry, Brandon Lomping, Vincent Lomping, Cherokee Evans, Racer Evans and Joe Bates.
