Obituary for Bonnie Faye Burns On April 10, 2018, Mrs. Bonnie Faye Naler Burns of Guntersville, passed from her earthly life to one of glorious peace and communion with her Lord and Savior. Bonnie was a faithful member of Connect Church of Guntersville. She is survived by Dr. Bob and Ann Neighbors of Equality, AL, Dr. Mark and Terri Neighbors of Opelika, AL, Ms. Jennifer Neighbors of Auburn, AL, Miss Chelsea Neighbors of Opelika, AL, Mr. Carter Neighbors of Opelika, AL, Mrs. Sonya Johnson of Summerville, South Carolina, Mr. and Mrs. Jeffery Johnston of Crossville, AL and Ms. Sonya Naler and son Cody of Cullman.

Bonnie had a delightful and loving group of friends from near and far. They shared outings, restaurant meals, shopping trips and birthday celebrations. Her friends were her treasure.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Reece Burns, her parents, Emory and Inez Pinkerton Naler, her brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Nell Naler. A graduate of Crossville High School, Bonnie’s chosen profession was as a secretary/book keeper at Crossville High School and later as secretary for Guntersville City Schools. Bonnie, a true friend, a beloved wife and daughter, a compassionate and lasting helper, a dedicated Christian whose faith never lost strength, and who loved to the uttermost.
