Obituary for Bonnie Haynes (Jones) Bonnie L. Haynes, age 91, of Joplin, Mo. , passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at Spring River Christian Village, following an illness. Bonnie was born on March 21, 1927 in Stella, Mo.

, the daughter of the late George E. and Jewell (Long) Jones. She has been a lifetime area resident. She married Loyd “Rusty” A. Haynes on August 6, 1945 in Neosho and together they raised five children.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a longtime member of Mount Hope Church of Christ. She served the congregation as an elder’s wife for many years.

She is survived by two sons, Tim Haynes and wife Teresa, Duncanville, Tx. , and Kevin Haynes and wife Dani, Lubbock, Tx. ; three daughters, SueAnn Allen of Kissimmee, Fl.

, Kathy Huff and husband Tobey, Seneca, and Beth Brower and husband Mike, Carl Junction, Mo. ; ten grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Bonnie was proceeded in death by her Husband Rusty in 1992, a Grandson Jonathan, three brothers, Carl, J.M. and Larry.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Hope Church of Christ. Bonnie’s sons, Tim and Kevin Haynes and son-in law Tobey Huff will officiate. Burial will be in Rocky Comfort Cemetery.

Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Contributions may be made to Sunset International Bible Institute in care of the Mortuary.

Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
