Obituary for Brandon John Weinacker Brandon John Weinacker, 39 of Bonita Springs, FL and Mackinac Island, MI left this earth on May 15, 2018 to Brandon begin his eternal life with Jesus in Heaven. He was born May 3, 1979 in Greenfield, MA. He attended schools in Bonita Springs, FL and graduated from Estero High School in 1997.
He received an Associate in arts degree from Florida Southwestern State College in 2003. Aspiring to persue a career in sports medicine, he continued his education at FSW and FGCU until 2008, where he was just 2 courses shy of earning his Bachelor of Science degree. Brandon worked as a bartender and a painter on Mackinac Island, MI.
He enjoyed all sports and played on many different leagues teams throughout his youth. He was a participant of Bonita Springs youth soccer, Bonita Springs Little League Baseball etc. as well as Pop Warners and the mustangs football teams.
He participated in field and track in high school and was a member of the Estero High School “Wildcats” football team. He was an avid sports fan and particularly loved the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. He enjoyed fishing and especially loved attend his daughters sporting and school events.
He cherished being around family and friends. Brandon will be remembered most for his huge heart. He loved helping others and did so often especially his family and friends.
Brandon leaves his mother Marie T. Weinacker of Bonita Springs, FL, his father Ernest “Phil” Weinacker of New Smyrna Beach, Fl, his daughter Jaiden Marie Jeffries; his sister Kendra Leigh Weinacker of Fort Myers, FL; his grandmother Theresa M. Waryas (Grammy Bammy”) of Bonita Springs, FL and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He also leaves his biological father Robert D. Hopkins of Turners Falls, MA. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Chester P. Waryas (“Gawky”) and Ernst P. Weinacker and Grandmother Judith Garofalo (“Grammy Judy”) and Nina Weinacker; uncles John and Robert Waryas.
Friends are welcome on Saturday June 2, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 P.M. at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. A celebration of Brandon’s life will be held at the Bonita Springs Moose Lodge, 25101 Old 41 Road, Bonita Springs following the mass.
