Obituary for Antoinette Marie “Ann” Spagnola Antoinette Marie “Ann” Spagnola, 91, of Bonita Springs, FL, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018. Formerly of Staten Island, NY, she had been a Bonita Springs resident since 2015. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 13, 1927.

She was the daughter of Italian-American immigrants, the late Joseph and Angelina (née Mugnolo) Apisa. “Grandma Ann,” as she was affectionately known by many, was an avid music lover and reader. But nothing made her happier than spending time with her family and friends.

Ann had a way of making everyone around her feel special and loved. Her home was always filled with people, laughter and her contagious smile. Ann is survived by her three loving children, Jerry (the late Marie) Spagnola of Old Bridge, NJ; Rosaria (Vincent) Golia of Bonita Springs, FL; and Joseph (Carol) Spagnola of Staten Island, NY; six cherished grandchildren, Jodi (Patrick) Hynes, Elena (Raul) Francisco, Anthony Spagnola, Loriann Spagnola, Jamie Spagnola and Joseph Spagnola; and three treasured great grandchildren, Mariella, Olivia and Amelia.

She was preceded in death in 1981 by her beloved husband, James Vincent Spagnola. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Hope Hospice, www. hopehospice.org.
