Obituary for Mina K. Carr Mina K.Carr age 66, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs, Florida. Born in Tehran, Iran on August 9, 1951 to loving parents who owned a private high school where she spent many summers actively teaching swimming lessons, attended Piano Academy of Tehran and graduated from Shermiran College in 1976 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. After arriving in USA in 1978 Mina became a Naturalized American citizen and taught pre-school and primary aged children at the Academy Child Center in Darnstown, Maryland.

Mina’s cup was always ‘half full’ and truly a genuine ,wonderful ,pleasant, confident person who enjoyed welcoming adults, children and friends making all feel important. She was delightfully humorous and had the sweetest infectious laugh that warmed the hearts of many. She is survived by her husband, Bill; step daughter, Rita; many other family members.

Graveside funeral services will be held at family burial site in Parklawn Memorial Park, 12800 Viers Mill Road, Rockville, Maryland, Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice, 27200 Imperial Pkwy, Bonita Springs, Florida 34135.
