PINNACLE – Brandon Kyle Graves, 38, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. Brandon was born on May 11, 1981 in Forsyth County and grew into a confident, strong person, who touched the lives of many. He faithfully attended Poplar Springs Church of Christ in King and was the owner of Mooney’s Grading Trucking Division.

Brandon was a hard worker with a huge heart, who was loved dearly by his family. He unselfishly provided his time, love, and care to help anyone in need, no matter the situation. He was an honest man and took pride in his role as a husband, father, and son.

His family was of the upmost importance to him. Brandon could light up the room with his outgoing and loving personality. All who knew him were blessed by his friendship.

Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bill & Betty Goode; his paternal grandfather, Richard Graves; and paternal grandmother, Jackie Graves. Surviving are his wife, who also shared his childhood , Alissa Graves; a daughter, Kyleigh Graves; a son, Waylon Graves; parents, Jill & Scott Mooney; parents, Dana & Jewel Graves; sisters, Shannon Hamilton (Jeff), Morgan Beaman (Alex), and Megan Parnell (Bobby); brothers, Travis Graves and Lee Lingerfelt; parents-in-law, Glenn and Melisa Carter; grandmother, Ann Graves; grandfather, Richard Jones; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral service to celebrate Brandon’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Poplar Springs Church of Christ with Pastor Chuck Bower officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the Family Life Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Poplar Springs Church, 7120 NC Hwy 66 South, King, NC 27021.

Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
