Obituary for Brenda Kay Ellis Fountain……………………………. Brenda Kay Ellis, age 70, entered her eternal home, Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Brian Center. Honoring Brenda’s wishes thee will be just a graveside service will be held Saturday at 3:00 P.M. at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens by Rev.

Frank Cockrell. Mrs. Ellis was born on July 3, 1948 in Wilson County. She was the daughter of Lee Roy and Frances Hughes Ellis who preceded her in death.

She was a member of Aspen Grove Free Will Baptist Church and served her church in many ways. She taught the junior Sunday School class and attended church as long as her health allowed. Brenda may be absent from us in the body, however she will always be present in our hearts.

She is survived by her brother, Ray “Bud” Ellis of Farmville; sisters, Judy Moore and husband, George of Farmville, Betty Lou Rouse and husband, Harry of Greenville, and Diane Windham and husband, Kenneth of Farmville. She is also survived by one niece, four nephews, two great-nieces and six great-nephews; “special brother” Jerry Owens and wife, Mary of Farmville. Those desiring to make a memorial may please consider Parkinson’s Research, the Humane society, or charity of one’s choice.

The family will receive friends at the home of Judy Moore, 3428 North Waverly Street, Farmville, NC 27828. The family would like to give a special thanks to everyone at the Brian Center in Wilson. They have been our rock during Brenda’s stay with them.

We always felt their love and support. The family would like to also thank everyone for all of the prayers and support given to them. Arrangements are by Farmville Funeral Home.
