Brenda Kay Geouge January 10, 1947 – December 21, 2018 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences Brenda Kay Geouge, 71, Roan Mountain, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018 in The Waters of Roan Highlands after an extended illness. Born January 10, 1947 in Banner Elk, North Carolina to the late Floyd & Sadie Jaber Moody, she had lived her entire life in the Roan Mountain Area. She was a 1965 graduate of Cloudland High School.

Brenda was retired due to disability as a Respiratory Therapist from Cannon Memorial Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Roan Mountain. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Conway Geouge in 2007.

Her hobbies were arts & crafts , scrap books and she was a huge Elvis Presley fan. Survivors include a son: Kevin Moody, Bluff City. One Grandson: Tyler Moody.

One Sister: Peggy Jean Stanley, Roan Mountain. Several nieces & nephews. A Service to Celebrate the life of Brenda Geouge will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2018 in the First Baptist Church, Roan Mountain with the Rev.

Geren Street officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday in the First Baptist Church. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” for their kindness, care and compassion to the Staff of The Waters of Roan Highlands.
