Obituary for Brenda McKee SHELBY: Brenda McSwain McKee, 76, died Monday, January 7, 2019, at her daughter’s home in N. Myrtle Beach. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Thad and Colleen West McSwain. She attended Bethel Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Penny Moore; and 10 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Celeste Hoyle and Bobbie Harrill, both of N. Myrtle Beach, and Lisa Stallings of Shelby; sister, Gloria Gale of Bristol, Tenn. ; grandchildren, Joshua Hoyle of Conway, Victor Tessener of Myrtle Beach, Kasey Gamble of Surfside, Katie Hughes, Christopher Moore, Matthew Stalling, and Leah Stallings, all of Shelby; great-grandchildren, Kayla Cole, Collin Hoyle, Dalton Tessener, Victoria Tessener, Kaden Harrill, Abigail Gamble, Gage Gamble, Malli Rojas, Nathan Hughes, Jordan Arrowood, and Brayden Hughes.

The family will receive friends 6-7:30pm, Friday, January 11, 2019, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11am, Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Richard Stroup officiating.
