Brenda (Uecker) Decker, 58, of Appleton and formerly of Door County died unexpectedly of natural causes in Janesville on November 14, 2018. She was born April 18, 1960 in Algoma to Glenway and Jeanette (Seiler) Uecker. Brenda graduated with honors from Southern Door High School in 1978 and then studied residential design at Northcentral Technical School in Wausau.

During her life, she worked as a truss designer and property assessor in several cities throughout Wisconsin. She loved arts and crafts and enjoyed needle point, painting and jewelry making. Brenda was also a proud cat owner for many years.

She especially enjoyed time spent with her nieces, nephews, and friends from Appleton. Survivors include her three siblings, Connie (Randy) Schuster, Sturgeon Bay; Linda (John) Muraski, Green Bay; and John (Genevieve) Uecker, Oak Creek; nieces and nephews: Alexander, Calvin, Kaitlin, and Megan; uncles, aunts and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
