Brent Russell Henry, 69 of Sylvania, OH, passed away Tuesday June 5, 2018 at Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania. He was born June 17, 1948 in Toledo, OH, to Donald and Eileen (Brown) Henry. After receiving his associate degree from college, Brent began his career in the automobile industry as a mechanic and trainer for numerous car dealerships until his retirement in 2013.

He married his true love Kathleen Flynn July 29, 1967 and together they raised their daughter. Brent was brought up in the Lutheran faith and worshiped at various Lutheran churches through his adult life. He was a member of the Pontiac Club and a true car enthusiast with an extensive collection of automobile memorabilia.

Brent truly enjoyed rebuilding and tinkering with cars and motorcycles, along with his love of boating, water skiing, biking, running, walking, and Rock n Roll music. Left to cherish Brent’s memory is his loving wife of 50 years Kathleen Henry; daughter, Laura Hart; granddaughter, Amanda, sisters, Pam Nugent; Anita (Colin) Rumpsa; brother, Calvin Hetrick; many nieces and nephews along with his canine companion Coop. Friends may join the family for visitation at Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St., Sylvania, OH, Friday, June 8, 2018 from 11am to 2pm when the Funeral Service begins.

Interment to follow at Ottawa Hills Cemetery. Those wishing to give a memorial are asked to consider Ebeid Hospice or The Toledo Humane Society.
