Obituary for Brian Cole Campbell ROCKLAND – Brian C. Campbell, 69, died unexpectedly, at his Methodist Home residence, Sunday, October 7, 2018. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, December 5, 1946, he was the son of Garfield and Anna Delong Campbell. He attended East Hartford High School and went on to graduate from Central Connecticut College with a business degree.
Brian worked in the restaurant field in Connecticut until he moved to South Thomaston Maine in 1998, where he loved living in the family A-Frame on the Keag River. For 10 years, Brian worked in environmental services at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport. He was a kind and loving person who cared for both his elderly parents when they needed assistance.
Loving animals, he always had treats for those who passed by his home that he proudly labeled Campbells Cove. He gave special attention, spending hours caring for Chloe, his family’s Irish Setter. A private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Pope Memorial Humane Society of Knox County, P.O. Box 1294, Rockland, ME 04841.
