Brian Patrick Temons, age 57, of Oswego, NY passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 as a result of an auto accident when he was struck from behind which led to a multi-vehicle accident in Syracuse, NY. Brian was born April 1, 1961 in Lock Haven, PA to the late James Garrison Temons and Helen L. Harrau Temons Irwin who survives in Williamsport, PA. Brian was a 1979 graduate of the Lock Haven High School where he had been a member of the Bobcat Band, the percussion sections was his greatest joy in high school.

After graduation, he joined the US Air Force, working as an Aircraft Systems Specialist being Honorably Discharged as a Senior Airman in 1982. After leaving the service he continued working in aviation for Boeing and later Air Alaska. He was working at KJ Electric, DeWitt, NY as a panel operator for the last five years prior to his death.

Brian was a collector of military memorabilia, trading nationally. He was a fan of non-fiction novels and an avid X-Files fan. He continued to stay in touch with his high school classmates, often driving in from Syracuse to meet for Saturday breakfasts.

He was integral to organizing class gatherings, and founded the Facebook group “Lock Haven High School Bobcat Band”. Survivors include, his fiancé, Kristen McKeown Fanning of Osewgo, NY, his former wife, Sandra Marie Cummings and their sons: Ian Patrick- Ennis (Kylee Sikorskas) Temons, 31 and Kyle Nathan (Brittany Vonada) Temons, 27, four grandchildren: Shey Michael, Peyton Leigh, Cain Richard and Penelope Rose. Surviving in addition to his mother, Helen are his two brothers, Michael James Temons and Mark Joseph Temons along with his fiancé Kristen’s three cats, Baby, Aggie and Charlie.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Garrison Temons who passed in 1981; and a nephew Anthony M. Temons who passed in 2016. A celebration of life for Brian Patrick Temons will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 7:00 PM in the Yost-Gedon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC. , 121 West Main Street, Lock Haven, PA 17745.

Family and friends will be received in the funeral home one hour prior to service. Those who would like to say a few words in memory of Brian are welcome to do so at 7:00 PM. Interment will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lock Haven, PA.
