Obituary for Brian Wainer Brian Z. Wainer, age 69, passed October 21, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Ruth Wainer and sister, Penny Rovick. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kandice Wainer; daughter, Jessica (Mike) Wagner and son Ben (Dana) Wainer; and grandchildren, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Alexandra, Hannah, Harper and Hope.

Brian was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family, and he especially enjoyed vacationing with them in Hilton Head. He loved his work as owner and operator of his own business for over 30 years.

He was a natural storyteller and had a way with words that could captivate, motivate, bring laughter, and provoke thought. He was stubborn and passionate and those traits undoubtedly fueled his long fight against lymphoma and graft versus host disease. He will be dearly missed, but his stories and strength will live on in those who knew him.
