Brian Wilson was born June 3rd in 1971 in Champaign. He attended Champaign schools and graduated from Central High School in 1989. He then attended Nashville Auto Diesel College in Tennessee.

He was an employee at the Mobil gas station in Mahomet for 10 years. He loved fishing, watching football, and working on cars. More than anything he enjoyed being with his friends and family.

He was the son of Phil and Kathy Wilson, the grandson of Betty and Harold Wilson of Champaign and Elwood and Garnet Peterson, also of Champaign. He leaves behind his parents; a brother, Michael (Debi) Wilson; and a sister, Carrie (Rick Von Holten). He also leaves behind three nieces, Kaitlyn Wilson, Jessi Wilson and Brittany Wilson; and two nephews, Nick Henry and William Henry.

Brian passed away at Carle Hospital in Urbana at 10:15 p.m. Nov. 12, 2018. He went home to be with his Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Mahomet on Friday, Nov. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. His funeral will be held at First Baptist Church of Mahomet on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 10 a.m. The Rev.

Brian Romanowski will be officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens of Champaign. Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association in Brian’s name.
