OBITUARY Brigida C Pierce April 9, 1941 – January 2, 2019 Brigida Cecelia Pierce passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at the age of 77. Brigida was born on April 9, 1941 in Chetumel, Quintana Roo, Mexico to the late Facundo Chacón and Alejandrina Gonzalez. She is survived by her children Emmett Dean Pierce, Lois Pierce Bergeron and son-in-law Michael Bergeron; siblings Jose Manuel Chacón, Elena Zambrano and Rosa Oromi; grandchildren Jaimie Kristine Louviere, Maddie Jane Bergeron, and Christina Cecilia Pierce.

Brigida is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Maria Spoor, Maximo Chacón and Jose Ernesto Chacón; former husband William D. Pierce, Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. , New Orleans from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, 1404 Erato St., New Orleans on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 10:00am.

Visitation will be from 9:00am until service time. Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery. The family invites you to share your thoughts, fond memories, and condolences online at www.
