Obituary for Edward Louis Dragon Edward Louis Dragon, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the age of 86. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lena Hilderbrand Heigle and Edward Louis Heigle; his parents, Pearl Campbell Dragon and Ernest Dragon; his brother, Ernest Dragon Jr.; his mother and father-in-law, Betty Busiere Dragna and Joseph Dragna; and his brother-in-law, Glenn Dragna. He is the beloved husband of 53 years of Sheila Dragna Dragon.

He is the loving father of three wonderful sons, Edward Dragon, Jr. (Jo Roberts Dragon), Christopher Dragon (Penelope Buffone Dragon), and Chad Dragon (Erica Ockman Dragon). He is the devoted grandfather of seven precious grandchildren, Victoria, Edward III, Jordan, Hannah, Christopher Jr., Alex, and Evan. He is the cherished brother-in-law of Gary Dragna, Gregg Dragna, Gene Talbot Dragna, Laurie Herrle Dragna, and Jean Weber Dragna.

He is also survived by, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Ed worked for Texaco Inc. as a production specialist for over 38 years, a job he truly loved and was devoted to. He was a caring husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.

And he will definitely miss having lunch on Thursdays with his long-time friends, The Lunch Bunch. He was a parishioner of Visitation of Our Lady for many years, a native of New Orleans, and a life-long resident of Marrero. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Monday, January 7, 2019 beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM from the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd.

, Marrero, LA. Interment OLPS Mausoleum, Westwego, LA. In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred.
