Brittany “Britt” K. Bair, 32, of Lisle, formerly of Rockford, passed away June 8, 2018, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Born June 2, 1986 in Rockford; she is the daughter of Frank Buscemi and Brie (Speracino) Kuster. She married Stephen Bair on July 13, 2013 in Rockford.

A graduate of Boylan Catholic High School, class of ’04, she graduated from Roosevelt University: Chicago, with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Human Res. Britt loved animals, photography, traveling,… Read More » obstacle course races and being charitable and caring for others in need. She is lovingly survived by her husband, Stephen Bair; parents, Frank Buscemi and Brie (Marcus) Kuster; sisters, Lauren (Alex) Brackett, Jennifer Buscemi and Kayla Kuster; grandparents, Phil Speracino, Salvatore Buscemi, Donna Thompson and Dorothy Kuster; in-laws, Robert and Dori Bair; brother-in-law, Lucas (Jennifer) Bair; sister-in-law, April Thompson; nieces, Jasmyn, Faith and Audrey (Britt’s god-daughter); her fur babies, Oliver and Leslie; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Johanna Buscemi and Shirley Speracino; grandfather, Richard “Pa” Kuster; uncle, Phil Speracino; grandparents-in-law, Ervin and Margaret Bair. Special thanks to Northwestern Hospice & Cancer Center and to family and friends for their generosity and care given to Britt. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018, at St. James Catholic Church, 428 N. 2nd Street, Rockford.

Visitation from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2018 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd, Rockford. Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday June 16, 2018 at the church. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
