Brooklyn Sky Pode of Fowlerville, born of September 12, 2007, age 10 departed this world peacefully on May 4, 2018 to be with the Lord, after a long battle with kidney disease. Brooklyn is survived by her parents Shane and Laryssa Pode and her brother Ryan Pode, grandparents Dean and Mary Pode of Pinckney and Linda Pode of Arizona and Donna Matthews of West Virginia. Brooklyn is proceeded in death by her grandfather Thomas Matthews Jr of West Virginia.

Brooklyn loved spending time with her brother and four dogs. She always brought out the best in people. Her smile and laugh was contagious.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Hence forth there is laid for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day and not to me only but unto all them also that love his appearing.
