Bruce Allen Weil, 71, of Lewis, Indiana passed away January 16, 2019 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was born January 24, 1947 in Terre Haute to August and Zora (Montgomery) Weil. Bruce was a truck driver working for both J.I. Case and Western Tar.

He belonged to the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association, American Legion, Elks Club, and NRA Lifetime Member. He also served in the Air National Guard. Bruce is survived by his wife Fern Weil, daughter Joy George of Indianapolis, sons; Brian Lewis of Lewis, Jeff Becker of Ohio, Johnathan Becker of California, and August Weil of Wisconsin, several grandchildren, a sister Karen Weist (Dave) and brother Billy Weil (Mildred) of Virginia.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel with service to follow visitation. Pastor Darren Sluder will be officiating.
