Bruce F. Leonard, age 66 of Fremont, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic. Bruce was born March 8, 1952 the son of the late Charles and Mary Leonard (Chick). Bruce was a self-proclaimed hippie and a cat lover.

He enjoyed putting on laser light shows at festivals and performances and working with electronics. He was a member of the EAA and flew ultralights and experimental aircraft. Bruce is survived by his son, Noel (Jennifer) Leonard of Green Springs; two grandchildren: Jacob Purdham and Charles Leonard; and a great-granddaughter, Emmy Purdham.

In addition to his parents, Bruce is preceded in death by his sister, Jane Ballard. Friends will be received Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 5-8pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E McPherson Hwy. , Clyde, OH 43410.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bruce’s honor to the Sandusky County Humane Society, 1315 N River Rd, Fremont, OH 43420.
