Buddy “B.J.” Gaddy passed away Monday, February 25, 2019 in Newnan, GA. He was born June 27, 1937 in Carrollton, GA to the late William Henry Gaddy and Bessie Shoemake Gaddy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nadine Gaddy and son Jeff Gaddy.

He is survived by his devoted companion, Virginia Borders; children, Dennis (Lisa) Gaddy, Lisa (Bill) Ribeyro, Scott (Lynne) Gaddy, Bryan (Kelly) Turner and Lisa (David) Olmstead; grandchildren, Tabitha (Scotty) Truitt, Jeremy (Margaret) Gaddy, Holly (B.J.) Thompson, Audrey (Brad) Collins, Jonathan Gaddy, Justin Gaddy, Margaret Gail (Patrick) Mewborn, Aaron (Amanda) Caldwell, Meagan Caldwell and Zachary Olmstead; ten great-grandchildren, sister, Reba Watson; sister-in-law, Diane Barnwell and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 4:00 PM at Lovejoy Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Kathy Broadwater and Rev.
