Bunny Klaudene Key, age 72, passed away in Marshall, Texas on Saturday, April 27, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 8, 1946 in Liberty, Texas to Francis Alvin and Frankie Jo (Langston) Key. Bunny was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Frankie Key; her mother-in-law, Anna Marguerite Brady; her brothers-in-law, Charles Brady and Randy Brady and her sister-in-law, Alise Brady.

She is survived by her partner in life for over 50 years, Edwina “Eddie” Brady; her son, Kelly Edwin Key and his wife, Shelly; her grand-daughter, Grace Elizabeth Beard; her nephew, who was like her son, Erik Brady, his wife, Erin and their daughter, Evie; her step-sister, Jon Surmmons and her husband, Lightening; her sister-in-law, Peggy McGowan and her husband, Maurice; her brothers-in-law, Mike Brady and his wife, Susan and Rocky Brady; her nieces and nephews, Marci Daly, Micqui McGowan, Laura Sommerfeld, Marsha Brady, Jeff Brady, Dan Herrington, Jason Herrington and Colin Brady. She is also survived by her cousins, Mike Key and Ronnie Key of Hardin, Texas; and many other family members and friends who were blessed by her life. Bunny’s life was well lived and she was well loved.

She graduated from Lamar High School in Houston, Texas with the Class of 1964 and graduated from the University of Houston in 1968 with her teaching degree. She was a coach, EMT and commercial diver. Bunny had many incredible jobs during her life, but her true passion was diving.

She owned Key Divers for many years; however, she started and ended her career teaching. A Celebration of Life service will be held for Bunny at 11:00am on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Flyin’ Feathers Ranch, 3680 Flamingo Road, Gilmer, Texas 75645 with Pastor Shinia Kelsey officiating.
