Sylacauga, AL – A Graveside service for Byron “Joe” Robinson, 87, will be Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Shelvin Rock Cemetery with Rev. Tony McGrady officiating. A visitation will start at 9:00 a.m. at Radney Smith Funeral Home.

Joe was a proud Veteran of the Korean War and was also a Shriner and a Mason. He is preceded in death by his father, Sylvester “Pop” Robinson; mother, Sula “Little Mama” Green Robinson; daughter, Dorothy Robinson; brother, Jack Robinson; son, Billy Ray Robinson; best friend and son-in-law, Bobby Ray Usrey; and niece, Ruth Darden. Joe is survived by his wife of 67 years, Edna Shaw Robinson; daughters, Jane Robinson McCune (Bradd), and Jenny Robinson Usrey; granddaughters, Jennifer McCune Davis (Lee), and Raylee Page Usrey; grandson, Chris McCune (Alex), great grandchildren, Andrew Davis, Jacob Davis, Sam McCune, Burns McCune, and Amelia McCune.

Pallbearers will be: Chris McCune, Lee Davis, Stan Hutson, Carey Green, Ron Johnson, and Shane Denton. A special thanks to all of the Amedysis Hospice employees.
