OBITUARY Calvin Clay Ward May 10, 1949 – September 22, 2018 Calvin Clay Ward, 69, of Middleton, TN, died Saturday September 22, 2018. Mr. Ward was a U.S. Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam War. He was a retired Drywall Finisher, or as he often said, “Mud Doctor”.

Mr. Ward loved playing golf and would play anytime he could. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Elma Ward and seven siblings, Eddie Coleman Ward, Jr., Marvin Ward, Joyce Clifton, Benjamin Ward, Mary Lois Darnell, Drew Ward, and Nellie Barber. Mr. Ward is survived by his wife, Becky Ward, four children, Tammy Stone (Arron), Calvin Clay Ward, II (Jill), Gary McLearen, and Cayla Rhea (Logan), four siblings, Maxine Flinn, Kathryn Umberger, Loretta Winders, and Cletus Ward, and fifteen grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening September 25, 2018 from 5-8pm and the funeral service will be held on Wednesday September 26, 2018 at 10am, all at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch. Interment will take place in the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
