DiStasi, age 74, of Lakewood, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at home. Born in Newark on October 2, 1944, she lived in Belleville, Fords, and Ocean Township prior to moving to Lakewood. Camille graduated from Caldwell College with a degree in Elementary Education and Social Studies.

She was a teacher with the Newark Board of Education and then in Neptune prior to her retirement. Camille was predeceased by her parents Michael and Angela (Malanga) Soriano and her former husband William DiStasi. She is survived by her son Matthew DiStasi; her daughter Jessica Corring and her husband Rob; her grandson, Grady; her brother Kim Soriano and his wife Diana; her nieces Stephanie Alfieri and Dina Nardone; and her great nieces and nephews Matthew, Alyssa, Jenna, Isabella, Julia and Anthony.

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 10AM at St. Peter’s RC Church in Point Pleasant Beach. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at secure. mymsaa.org.
