Obituary for Candelario Ortiz Candelario A. Ortiz went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the age of 80. He was born in San Diego, TX on June 26, 1938 to George and Josefina Ortiz. Preceding him in death were: his daughter, Rose Marie Morales; granddaughter, Jennifer Ortiz; and sister, Olga Uresti.

Surviving relatives include: his loving wife of 57 years, Sylvia Ortiz; their son, George Henry Ortiz; sister, Teresa Monterleone (Graham); brother, Oscar Ortiz (Dora); bothers-in-law, Robert Resendez (Mimi) and Enrique Resendez (Rosa); sister-in-law, Irma Resendez; grandchildren , Adam Ortiz, Alec Ortiz, Ericia Morales, Vicente Morales Jr., numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South, beginning at 3pm. Interment immediately to follow at San Jose Burial Park.
