OBITUARY Captain Ted Masotti April 26, 1957 – December 6, 2018 Theodore “Captain Ted” Masotti, Jr., passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 6, 2018. Beloved wife of Susan (nee Makowski). Devoted father of Kyle and Lucas.

Dear brother of Joseph and Samantha. Loving son of Theodore and Joan. Nephew of Barbara Meyer and Elaine Greene.

Ted was the owner of Sea Dwellers of NJ for the last 45 years. He was a Course Director of NAUI for 30 years and a pioneer of technical and deep diving. Ted dove the Andrea Doria 13 times, filming movies and recovering artifacts at the sight.

He also taught diving at the US Military Academy at West Point.
