Obituary for Carl Austin Homer Carl Austin, 83, husband of the late Daisy Frances Galloway Austin, passed away October 13, 2018. A native of Pelzer, he was a son of the late Homer Frederick and Ella Mae Crome Austin, a retired employee of Her Majesty and member of Airport Baptist Church. Mr. Austin was an avid NASCAR fan.

Surviving are two sons, Mike Austin (Jan) of Taylors and Randy Austin of Greenville; one brother, Larry Austin of Piedmont; one sister, Peggy Moon of Piedmont; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was also predeceased by one daughter-in-law, Linda Austin. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary.

Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary prior to the service. The family is at their respective homes.
