Obituary for Armando Laserna Armando Laserna, 81, passed away October 12, 2018. A native of Bogota, Colombia, South America; a son of the late Agustin and Gabriela Jaramillo Laserna; he was a U.S. Army Veteran and a graduate of Baptist College of Charleston. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Schirmer Laserna of the home; three sons, David Armando Laserna (Marilyn) of Meggett, William Laserna (Susan) of Simpsonville and John Charles Laserna (Stephanie) of Greer; one daughter, Maria Victoria Kirby (Michael) of Monks Corner; two brothers, Enrique Laserna and Roberto Laserna; five sisters, Maria Virginia Laserna, Clara Rojas, Martha Helena Seibel, Piedad Lanzianno and Esperanza Laserna, all of Colombia, South America; and eight grandchildren, Brandon, Ashtyn, English, Reagan, Gabrielle, Adalynn, Austin and Kelsey.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary. The family will be at the home. Memorials may be made to Amedisys Hospice of SC, 250 Commonwealth Drive, Suite 105, Greenville, SC 29615.
