Carl Douglas McGahey, age 64, of Tyler, Texas died Tuesday May 7, 2019 in Tyler. He was born on November 1, 1954 in Lindale, Texas to the late Carl Henry and Randy Fay (Dawson) McGahey and was a lifelong resident of the Tyler and Lindale area. Carl was employed with John Soules Foods, Inc. in Tyler and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, Texas.

Carl is survived by his wife, Vickie McGahey of Rockwall, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law, James & JoAnn McGahey of Rockwall, Texas and Bryan & Courtney Gates of Sunnyvale, Texas; sisters, Melissa Black of Tyler, Texas and Vicki Book of Tyler, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
