Carl “Gene” Eaton, 85, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018 at his home. He was born on June 15, 1932 in Salina, Oklahoma, the son of Charley Eaton and Mamie (Benham) Eaton. Gene faithfully served his Country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

Gene married Lucille Hamilton at Pryor, Oklahoma on December 16, 1953 and had celebrated over 64 years of marriage. He worked as a Dairy Farmer and Rancher. Gene enjoyed the outdoors especially gigging for fish… Read More » and calf roping.

He enjoyed traveling and visiting with his friends and family. Gene loved his family and any time he spent with each one. He leaves many wonderful memories for his family and friends to cherish.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 2 p.m. in the Spavinaw-Strang Cemetery at Spavinaw, Oklahoma. Casket bearers are Brandon Howard, Dalton Howard, Jarren Howard and Pokey Adams. To leave the family a message please see his Tribute at www.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille Eaton of the home; son, Ronnie Eaton of Spavinaw, OK; his daughter, Connie Davis of Pryor, OK; sister-in-law, Wanda Eaton of Vinita, OK; grandchildren, Brandon and wife, Randi Howard and Carla Jean Howard; great grandchildren, Dalton, Kailyn and Jarren; several nieces and nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Mamie Eaton; one son, Donnie Eaton; brother, Homer Eaton; sisters, Christine McAnally and Geneva Creekkiller.
