Carl H. McDonald, 68, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on Dec. 10, 2018, in Green Bay. He was born Oct.

2, 1950 in Hinsdale, IL to Howard and LaVerne (Boehm) McDonald. On Oct. 7, 1989, he married Nancy Jean Kudrna in Steilacoom, Washington.

They enjoyed almost 30 years of marriage. Carl served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1968-1996. While in the military, he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in finance.

Upon discharge from the Air Force, Carl worked as a financial analyst for the U.S. Army for 14 years. He and his wife moved to Door County in 2011 from Moline, IL. Carl was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who dearly loved his wife, daughter, grandchildren and his Scotties.

He is survived by his wife Nancy, daughter Sarah (Derek) Gray of Hampden, MA; 2 grandchildren, Gillian and Cameron Gray. He was preceded in death by his parents. Burial with military honors will take place at a later date.
